A boat lift doesn’t always drop in as a standard kit.
On one recent job, a customer needed a cantilevered lift installed at the end of a pier where the bottom was pure silt with nothing solid to anchor into.
Rather than force a standard installation onto a site that couldn’t support it, our crew drove 45-foot-long pilings to reach solid ground, then lengthened the lift’s standard eye beams, welding and through-bolting additional solid material to keep the whole structure stable.
It’s the kind of adjustment a standard kit doesn’t account for, but your specific waterfront usually does.
